The Institute of Applied Technology brings together the School of Health Sciences and the School of Technical Studies at its Matasia campus in Ngong, Kajiado County. Our programmes emphasise supervised practical training through skills laboratories, clinical attachments, workshops, and field practice.

The Institute of Applied Technology is a tertiary institution located in Matasia, Ngong, comprising two specialist schools: the School of Health Sciences, offering programmes in nursing, perioperative theatre technology, clinical medicine, and health services support; and the School of Technical Studies, offering programmes in driving, plumbing, and survey.

Classes run Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Trainees report every first week of the month. Please bring the documents listed in our joining instructions, complete registration, and follow the official fee payment channels only — Family Bank or Lipa Na M-PESA Paybill 830669.
We provide hostel beds, overalls, and mattresses where applicable. Special diets require a medical certificate. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. We wish you a successful training period.
